So Yesterday I headed to Harajuku to explore the Park and Temple there and see the crazy fashion and see if I can find any cosplayers.

First I headed into the Park and then onto Meiji Jingu.

The temple was awesome. I been to quite a few now and I never get tired exploring them.

It turned out I visited on the day of "Meiji Shrine Doll thanksgiving day". A day when you people hand in dolls no longer needed. They believe doll have souls so they dispose of them in a proper and respectful fashion. They were expecting to to enshrining 40,000 dolls in just one day. Which I believe there were lots of them and I was there in early afternoon.

The on the hunt for crazy fashion or Cosyplay I headed down Takeshita Street.
I was told that not too many people turn out these days and I saw no Cosplayers but did see some crazy outfits.  For some reason I can't find any photos I took in that area but it was the most crowded area I have been in.

On the way back I stopped of at Akihabara again to check out more shops and see what else I could find.
I found they actually close the main road on Sunday and hold a flee market on Sundays. Found some great bargains.

As you can see I did find some cosplayers in the end but they were promotional and were handing out flyers and stuff. There was about 7 of them but I only asked to get photos of some of my favorite characters.

Ok well that was yesterday. Sorry I  am a day behind but it takes forever to upload the photos.
Today was not really exciting but I will let you know want happened tomorrow night.

The temples look awesome. Are there many Gaijin roaming around with you?

    1. Not as many as you would think. The only time see them are in the major tourist attraction and even then not that many. It's a little weird being on a crowded train and being to only westerner there.
