Get ready for photo over load!!

So yesterday was my first full day in Kyoto and wow it was hot!!

First I headed to Fushimi Inari Taisha which was absolutely amazing  probably one of my favorite places I have visited in Japan so far.

First you visit the main shrine at the bottom of the hill and then make your way up to the top of the hill passing under hundreds of gates visiting hundreds of shrines. 

Some of the gates are brand new and some of the gates are rotting and falling to peaces , there are even places where you can see where the gates used to be but are now empty. 

After I headed to another place that I have seen in Japanese media Kiyomizu-dera.

I have no idea how 85% of the people who jumped off that balcony survived!
