So being an anime fan I was happy to find a hostel 20 minutes walk from Akihabara the electronics and Anime hub of Japan.
I spent today exploring the different street and shops I didn't end up buying any thing but I have places I will return to if I don't find any thing better to buy by the end of the trip.
I had lunch at the Gundam Cafe, which was cool. All the food and drink were themed after Gundam Seed charters and places. The toilet had a big button in it to start up the Gundam eyes on the wall including the start up sound.
Took me most of the day to work my way through only around 5 of the larger stores.
I was a little paranoid about taking photos in side the stores because I did not want to take photos of people and the stores were packed. Also all the real awesome displays had signs saying no photos allowed.
I finished my day by having tea at a maid cafe.
Was as weird as you would think it would be.
The only two photos I have are of the food and a photo I paid to have with one of the maids.
It was raining for until early afternoon and I quickly found that my umbrella I got in NZ is useless and i will have to buy a larger one
Well its been a long day and with lot of walking. Think I will head down to my room and watch some thing then hit the hay.
